I was in Dallas for my day job. I was told it was a dump,
but I really didn’t think it was. The first day I was there, I was really
headachey so had to spend some sleep-time in my hotel. Seeking fresh air, I
walked along the Katy Trail. I was taking pics of the various flora and fauna,
when a cyclist stopped to be “friendly”? I couldn’t tell! Returning to the
trail, I stumbled upon a little enclave of Spanish-mission architecture, cafes,
and fancy shops…including the DWR. It was much larger than the one Adam
manages, and they had a Swan Chair on the floor! I was excited to sit in it. It
was uncomfortable.
