I have the power...

I drew this He-Man piece for a charity show/silent auction, Skeletor Saves.

Skeletor Saves is a collective charity show with work from top artists based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, benefitting The Ali Forney Center.

Thursday 4/7/11 from 6-10PM at Headquarters Studios at 385 Broadway, NYC.

The Ali Forney Center (AFC) was started in response to the lack of safe shelter for LGBT youth in New York City. AFC is dedicated to promoting awareness of the plight of homeless LGBT youth in the United States with the goal of generating responses on local and national levels from government funders, foundations, and the LGBT community.

If you are in NYC next Thursday, definitely check out the show and bid, bid, bid!

I know it's not related to this cause or He-Man but I finally got a hold of your Northstar story in the form of The Nation X TPB and just wanted to say it was great.

Thanks! I am very happy the story made it into the HC and the TPB! Sadly, it didn't make it into the Panini (translated for Europe) editions. :-\

Well that's lame.

Wow, I don't remember He-Man being so baskety

Anon: if you are a He-Man purist, do NOT visit the site or the auction in NYC on Thursday...very liberal interpretations of the characters abound. Ah, artistic license.

I see your He-Man submission made the front page of the Huffington Post today (04/06) for their story on the auction. Very cool.
